PHA - Polyhydroxy Acid
PHAs are a gentler version of AHAs and BHAs that is more suited for sensitive skin. This is due to its larger molecule size that sits on the surface of the skin and is kinder than other enzyme exfoliants. It buffs away dead skin cells and surface build-up. Our PHA is sourced and bio-fermented from the Prickly Pear Cactus.

Green Tea
Green Tea Extract contains polyphenols which are effective in fighting bacterial infection which causes inflammation and acne. It is a potent antioxidant and has skin soothing properties.

40% Aloe Vera Juice
Aloe Vera is a well-known soothing and hydrating skincare ingredient due to its naturally high polysaccharide and sterol content. Sterols help the skin to retain moisture while polysaccharides help to support the skin's natural ability to hydrate and retain water.

FAQs
Can I use Green Clean everyday?
Yes you can! Green Clean is a super gentle exfoliating cleanser that will leave your skin feeling clean without feeling stripped.
Can I use a separate exfoliator on top of Green Clean?
Yes, you can still exfoliate as per normal. We recommend only exfoliating 1 - 2x a week so you are not over-exfoliating your skin!
I have dry and/or sensitive skin, can I use Green Clean?
Yes you can. Green Clean contains super hydrating ingredients like Aloe Vera Juice and Glycerin to help your skin retain moisture.
What is the difference between "PHA" and "AHA"?
PHA is short for polyhydroxy acid. AHA is short for alphahydroxy acid. Both are chemical exfoliants that help to enzymatically remove dead skin cells and surface build-up to support faster cellular regeneration. PHAs have a slightly larger molecule size than AHAs so they function on your skin's surface rather than penetrate through your skin's surface like AHA. This makes PHA less irritating for sensitive skin.
